In November 2023, the Constitution of 1848 will be exactly 175 years old. This Constitution forms the basis of Dutch parliamentary democracy.
This marks the start of a special project. In 30 paintings we record the Dutch constitution and emphasize the necessity of Dutch parliamentary democracy.
We feel honored. In addition, we hope that our work may aim to provide many generations with knowledge about this special piece of history.
In November 2023, exactly 175 years later, the work will be unveiled in a special way and will be publicly available to everyone from then on.
